"In the Picture" Turner Classic Movies Exhibition
"The Grove" Lifestyle Center, Los Angeles
We transformed a plum retail space at "The Grove" lifestyle Center into a temporary exhibition of priceless Hollywood memorabilia called "In the Picture" for Turner Classic Movies, ( in collaboration with Paykos Graphic Design and Brooks Branch Productions.) Actual movie set "walls" provided the abstract, yet authentic backdrop to display millions of dollars in priceless film memorabilia including actual props and costumes from classics like "Casablanca", "The Maltese Falcon," and the "The Wizard of Oz" to name a few. A world class execution on a modest budget, a "wow" for film fans and a huge hit for TCM. A merchandise area was also created to allow fans to take the experience home.
